What Your Clients See in the Flexmls Portal
Note
Your selections for Portal settings also affect subscription emails and shared listings.
The email recipient’s view of the interactive report depends on whether you are using the classic client portal or the new client portal.
Note
The Classic Portal is an older version of the Flexmls Portal that is not available in all MLSs. Even if the Classic Portal is available in your MLS, we recommend using the Flexmls Portal instead for the best client experience. For example, the Classic Portal does not allow clients to search for listings without an IDX subscription, where the Flexmls Portal does.
Flexmls Portal
If you are using the Flexmls Portal, recipients of the interactive report receive a link to a user-friendly listing that is easy to navigate and optimized for touchscreen devices. Select whether to include tax information, documents, and open house information.
Classic Portal
If you are using the Classic Portal, mail recipients receive a link to a search results page, where they can navigate among the tabs to view listing information.
The List tab is automatically shown. You can select which other tabs and options to show:
Select a view to control which columns of information are displayed.
You can also select a start position, which defines the tab that opens by default when the recipient clicks the link.
By default, the Branding option is selected. This option displays a business card on the search results page. You can choose the position of this banner-style business card on the page. The generic business card format includes your photo, name, and contact information.
To send an email without the business card, remove the check from the Branding checkbox. To save your selections as the default for future emails, click the Save link at the bottom of the page.
