MLS Email Templates (Legacy Feature)

Admins have the option to create a custom email to be sent instead of the system’s default email. To do this, first ensure that you are logged into a root account. Then, go to Menu > Admin > MLS Email Templates. Keep in mind that you can create different and unique email templates to send based on member type.

To create a new email template, click New. To edit an existing email template, select a template and click Edit. To rename an existing email template, select a template and click Rename. Then, enter a new name for the email template and click Ok. To delete an email template, select a template and click Delete.

If you are creating a new email template, enter the information in the fields. Refer to the instructions below on how to fill out the fields in the email template.

  • Type: Select Onboarding, which is the only available option.

  • Name: Enter a user-friendly name that will identify this template.

  • Subject: Enter the subject of the email that will be sent. Members will see this as the subject of the email they receive.

  • Message: Type whatever you would like the message to say. The link to set a password will automatically be appended at the bottom of the template.

When you have finished completing the fields in the email template, click Save.

If you are editing an existing email template, enter your modifications in the fields, and click Save.

Important

FBS is no longer offering the MLS Email feature to MLSs that are not already using it. The MLS Email feature is being phased out, as this email delivery method is frequently reported as spam, and these reports negatively impact delivery of all emails from Flexmls.
