Browser Compatibility
This page provides detailed information on browser compatibility in Flexmls.
In general, Flexmls works best with the most current version of the following browsers:
Chrome
Safari
Edge
Firefox
As a best practice, we advise running the most updated version of your browser for security purposes, as well as to take advantage of the latest features of your browser.
Supported vs. Compatible Browsers
Flexmls-supported browsers are listed below and meet the stated criteria. A compatible browser may not necessarily meet the same criteria, even if it can run Flexmls. While the Flexmls Support team is happy to provide support to users who are running Flexmls on a compatible browser, in the event of a bug report, the Support team will generally suggest upgrading to a supported browser as a first step toward resolving the bug report.
We recognize that some users are using corporate computers and may not have the authorization to change or upgrade their browser without IT approval. We also understand that upgrading or changing your browser may not be easy while in the midst of completing a report for a customer. However, when it comes to compatibility, upgrading to a supported browser is often the most effective course of action. Regardless, the decision to upgrade to a supported browser is up to each user. FBS is committed to working with all our users to determine the best browser for your computer and to help you get the most out of Flexmls Web.
Supported Browser Policies
Below are general policies that meet the criteria for a supported browser for Flexmls*:
Current Version of Major Browsers: Flexmls Web supports the most current version (within six months of release) of the four major browsers, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Apple Safari, and Mozilla Firefox.
Immediate Prior Stable Version of Major Browsers: Flexmls Web also supports the immediate prior stable version of the four major browsers, if it also meets all other criteria (e.g., at least 5% usage rate). Users may be required at some point to upgrade their browser to the most recent version.
5%+ Usage Rate on Flexmls Web: To be recommended, a browser must have at least 5% usage on Flexmls Web.
Manufacturer Support: To be recommended, a browser must be supported or recommended by its manufacturer.
*The criteria for supported browsers and the browser usage information below only apply to desktop browsers. We will continue to update our browser policies and usage data and plan to include mobile browsers in the future.
Note
The same version of a browser may behave differently on a different computer or device, due to various hardware and software configurations, or different mobile operating systems (such as iOS or Android).
