Search Actions (iOS)

The Action panel is where you can take action with your search results. From here, you can share or save searches and work with third-party integrations. You can also share selected listings, hide or recommend a listing to a contact, and more. Below are more details on actions you can take:

  • Share - Share the search with a contact. If the search is new, give the search a name and tap Save and Share.

Select a recipient from your contacts or create a new contact. Type a message to accompany the link, and then select the sharing method to use. An action bar is displayed at the bottom of the Share page with three options: Email, Text and More. The Email and Text options send the link directly to the selected contact. The More option generates a link that you can share from the available apps on your mobile device.

You can subscribe the contact to notifications for the search by tapping the Subscribe to updates option. Subscriptions created in the app are scheduled as ASAP and can be accessed in Flexmls Web.

To share an individual listing, tap Share below the listing in Gallery View, or in Summary View, tap the three dots next to the listing and tap Share.

  • Select – Select listings to set aside for further action. When you are done selecting listings, you can tap the Actions icon to open the Actions panel, where you can then share your selected listings.

  • Save Search As – Save the current search criteria. Enter a name for the search and tap Save. Saved searches are available across all platforms, so if you save the search using the mobile website or the Flexmls app, it will also be available on the Flexmls desktop website.

  • Set as Default Search – Save your current applied search filters and the data you have selected for each filter as your default search. When you select this option, each time you run a search, that search criteria will automatically be applied. This option is different from saving a search template because in addition to saving specific fields, you can also save field data. So for example, not only can you select the ZIP code field to always be visible in your search template; you can also specify that ZIP code 12345 always be selected as part of your search. If you set a search as the default on mobile, that default search carries over and applies on desktop, and vice versa. For more information on setting a default search, refer to the Set a Search as Default help page.

    Note

When running a location-based search on mobile, that search will disable any pre-filtered default search fields.
