Dual Using in Flexmls
In Flexmls, a dual user is someone who belongs to two or more MLSs that each use separate, unconnected versions of Flexmls. Since each Flexmls account needs a separate login, you can use the following options to log into both accounts at the same time.
To maintain two separate login sessions in Flexmls between two different accounts, you can open one account in one browser, and the second account in another browser. For example, you can log in to your first Flexmls account in Safari, and your second one in Chrome. This allows you to work simultaneously in two separate accounts, without needing to log out and re-log in.
Flexmls works on most browsers, but we recommend using the most current version of following browsers:
Chrome
Safari
Edge
Firefox
For more information on supported and compatible browsers, see Browser Compatibility.
If you’d prefer to work in one browser or have only one browser on your computer, you can still simultaneously work in two separate Flexmls accounts. To do so, log into Flexmls in your browser. Then, open a separate browser window in Incognito or Private Mode, and log into your other Flexmls account. To open a separate browser window in Incognito or Private Mode, complete the following steps:
Safari: Click File > New Private Window
Chrome: Click File > New Incognito Window
Edge: Click File > New InPrivate Window
Firefox: Click File > New Private Window
A similar option to the one above is to work in the same browser, but set up separate profiles within that browser. Separate browser profiles maintain their own distinct sets of data, so that actions you take in one browser profile will not affect or interact with the other browser profile. To set up multiple profiles in a single browser, refer to the following resources for each browser:
Safari: Click Safari > Create Profile. Refer to Apple Support for more information.
Chrome: Click Profiles > Add Profile. Alternatively, you can click your profile icon at the top right corner of your browser window, and then click Add Chrome Profile. Refer to Google Chrome Help for more information.
Edge: Click your profile icon at the top right corner of your browser window, and then click Set up a new profile. Refer to Microsoft Support for more information.
Firefox: Click Profiles > New Profile. Refer to Mozilla Support for more information.
